Department of Applied Chemistry at Fooyin University was established in 1999. In 2008, the Department of Applied Chemistry was renaming as the Department of Applied Chemistry and Materials Science. Chemical industry is essential to both the traditional and high-tech industries. The goal of this department is to foster quality professional chemists. The teaching quality is approved internationally. The courses are practical and useful, combining professions and industries so that the students can have a balanced development in both academic or workplace fields.
